Whether you call it Pusoy Dos, Big Two, or just your favourite barrio pastime — Juan Bingo brings the full Pusoy experience straight to your phone. Real tables, real opponents, real pesos. Tara, maglaro na!
Ask any Filipino about Pusoy and their face lights up. It doesn't matter whether you grew up in Taguig or Tacloban — chances are you've sat around a plastic table, cards in hand, trying to outlast three other players in one of the most strategically rich card games ever invented. At Juan Bingo, we've taken that same energy and brought it online so you can enjoy it any time, anywhere, on any device.
Pusoy — also widely known as Pusoy Dos or Big Two — is a shedding-type card game that originated in East Asia but found its true spiritual home in the Philippines. The objective is simple on the surface: be the first player to get rid of all 13 cards in your hand. But the real magic lies in the layers of strategy involved. Which combinations do you play early? When do you hold back your strongest hand? How do you read your opponents? These are the questions that keep Filipino players coming back for more, night after night.
When you log into your Juan Bingo account and head to the Pusoy lobby, you'll find tables sorted by buy-in level — from low-stakes rooms perfect for beginners to high-roller tables where the serious players gather. Each table seats four players, and once the dealer distributes 13 cards to each participant, the game begins with the player holding the Three of Diamonds.
Plays must beat the previous combination on the table — a single card must be beaten by a higher single card, a pair beats a lower pair, and five-card combinations like flushes, full houses, and straights follow standard poker hand rankings. The twist that makes Pusoy uniquely Filipino? The Two cards are the highest-ranking singles in the game, above even the Ace. Whoever holds those Twos holds the power — and knowing when to unleash them is a skill that separates the amateurs from the regulars.
At Juan Bingo, the interface is designed for mobile-first play. The card animations are smooth, the table layout is clean and uncluttered, and the game timer keeps rounds moving at a pace that feels natural rather than rushed. Whether you're on a jeepney commute or relaxing at home, the experience is the same — fast, fair, and genuinely fun.
Not all Pusoy games are played the same way across the Philippines. Regional rules vary, and Juan Bingo has built its Pusoy section to accommodate different play styles. Here's what you'll find in our lobby:
Standard Pusoy Dos follows the classic rules most Filipinos know — 13 cards each, Twos are highest, and the first player to empty their hand wins the pot. This is the most popular variant and the one with the most active tables at any given time.
Pusoy with Penalties adds an extra layer of risk. If you're left holding a full hand of 13 cards when another player goes out, you pay a multiplied penalty to all three opponents. Holding 11 or 12 cards carries a smaller but still painful multiplier. This variant rewards aggressive early play and punishes slow starters.
Turbo Pusoy is our fastest-paced variant, designed for players who want quick sessions during lunch breaks or short commutes. Rounds are timed more strictly, and the blind structure escalates faster. It's intense, it's quick, and the swings can be massive.
There's no shortage of online card game apps out there, but most of them fall short in one critical area: trust. When you're playing with real Philippine pesos, you need to know that the platform you're on is legitimate, that the game is provably fair, and that your money is safe. That's exactly what Juan Bingo delivers.
Our platform operates under a PAGCOR licence, meaning every Pusoy game on our site meets the regulatory standards set by the Philippine government's own gaming authority. The random number generator used to shuffle and deal cards is certified by an independent third-party auditor. You're not playing against a rigged deck — you're playing a genuinely fair game, every hand.
Deposits and withdrawals are processed through the payment channels Filipinos actually use. GCash, Maya, GrabPay, Coins.ph, InstaPay, BDO, BPI, UnionBank, and Visa/Mastercard are all supported. Most withdrawals via GCash and Maya are completed in under three minutes. There's no waiting until the next business day to access your winnings.
Winning at Pusoy consistently takes more than just luck. The best players at Juan Bingo combine card counting, opponent reading, and disciplined hand management. Here are some fundamentals worth keeping in mind:
First, count your Twos. If you're holding two or three Twos, you have significant control over the endgame. Don't waste them early to win minor battles — save them to break opponent runs when it matters most.
Second, plan your hand in sequences. Before you play your first card, mentally organise your hand into the combinations you want to build — singles, pairs, three-of-a-kinds, and five-card hands. Players who go card by card without a plan tend to get stuck with mismatched leftovers late in the game.
Third, watch the discard pattern. In online Pusoy, you can observe which suits and ranks have already been played. If the Three of Spades, Four of Spades, and Five of Spades are all gone, your Seven of Spades just became a safer discard. Pay attention — the table tells you more than most players realise.
Fourth, don't be predictable. If you always play your strongest combination when you have the lead, experienced opponents will start passing strategically to let you exhaust your high cards. Mix up your play, occasionally pass when you could win a round, and keep people guessing.
Finally, manage your bankroll. Even on a good night, variance is part of any card game. At Juan Bingo, responsible bankroll management means choosing tables where the buy-in is no more than 5% of your total gaming budget. That way, a bad run doesn't wipe out your session before you've had a chance to recover.

Master these combinations and you're already ahead of most players at the Juan Bingo tables.
The most basic play. Any single card beats a lower-ranked card. The Two of Spades is the highest single in the entire deck — play it wisely.
Two cards of the same rank. Higher pairs beat lower ones; if ranks are equal, the higher suit determines the winner. Pairs are your bread and butter.
Three cards of the same rank. Powerful early and mid-game combination that clears multiple cards at once. A set of Twos is nearly unbeatable.
Five consecutive cards of any suit. Ace-high straights are strong, but watch out — Twos rank above Aces even in straights at most Filipino tables.
Five cards of the same suit, any rank. The highest card determines the winner between two flushes. Suited hands are worth building around.
Full houses combine a three-of-a-kind with a pair. Four of a kind is rarer and almost always wins a round outright. These are the game-ending bombs.
Your Two cards are your trump cards. Don't burn them in early rounds — hold at least one for the final stretch when opponents are low on cards.
Sort your hand into singles, pairs, and five-card hands before playing card one. Improvising mid-hand leads to dead cards that can't be played.
Track the cards that have been played. Knowing which suits and ranks are exhausted makes your remaining cards more or less powerful — plan accordingly.
Sometimes passing a round deliberately is the right move. Let opponents exhaust their strong combos, then reclaim the lead when they're vulnerable.
Breaking up a flush or straight to play singles is usually a mistake. Those five-card hands let you dump multiple cards at once — don't dismantle them early.
Always play at a buy-in level where you can absorb a few bad hands. At Juan Bingo, pick a table where the buy-in is comfortable for your budget — enjoy the game without pressure.
